The unique Virginia election cycle presents specific challenges and opportunities for grassroots political activism and building a deep bench of conservative elected officials. Our strategy must be oriented toward winning elections in each particular year and building the structures needed for winning future elections. Within 90 days after the 2012 County convention, we will develop a four-year strategic plan, consisting of an operational component and a fundraising component.
After a draft of the strategic plan has been developed, I will invite experts in the area of strategic planning and management analysis to meet with the Executive Committee, review the plan and the FCRC’s organizational structure, and recommend improvements.
